As of July 28, 2026, all City of Ottawa parking tickets will be printed on yellow paper

Tickets issued on or after July 28, 2026, will be subject to new timelines, including a 15-day early payment period and a 45-day window to request a screening review. The set fine amount and Notice of Overdue Parking Penalty will apply on day 16, and a Notice of Impending Default will be issued on day 46 after issuance.
